Tenishia Thornton made Maltese weightlifting history this week, winning an incredible three gold medals at the World Youth Championships, which were are being held between the 11 to 18 June in León, Mexico.
Competing in the women’s 55kg class, Tenishia topping the standings in clean & jerk, snatch and overall classes.
